We are making the final preparations ahead of the "groundworks" team arriving tomorrow when the destruction starts.
We've transplanted the ancient rose bushes from the flower bed where the site entrance will be and cleared the conservatory.
The plumber and electrician arrived this morning and have disconnected the power to the conservatory and removed the radiator.
I heard yesterday that one of the cats staying at Grandma's house ran under Grandpa's feet causing him to fall and hurt himself - the cats may be on a return trajectory sooner, rather than later. Hope you're feeling OK today Papa.
Oh, and we got another bill for £3,000 from the architect! The money pit is growing.
